Quite honestly, The Throbber would rather NOT have CRT banned. Let it get floated out there for what it is - a theory. And then destroy it with logic and reason and debate. Nobody is calling it Critical Race Fact.

Perhaps in the process we also get a little educated on some things we may have taken for gospel truth and learn about other's perspective along the way. CRT is a steaming pile of shit but I've actually learned some things about the black experience that I had previously been unaware.

It's history - we learn from it. We debate it and we try to get better. You don't use history to tear down. You use it to improve what's in place. The CRT freaks can't quite grasp that concept.

I actually read other articles saying it's not a complete ban, just that they can't force-feed it to children or present it as the official curriculum.

It appears to allow the dimwits into the party but bans them from spinning the disks.

I can't abide. I officially had enough of CRT when this happened.

I don't have a real problem with this

I don't have a problem with Harris backtracking after Scott and saying it isn't a racist country but we can't forget the past. We can't. Its for Huskies

But we can't dwell there and wallow in it

People like the Veep and the Senator and LeBron also need to point out that you can go a long way in this country with hard work and oral skills (cheap shot)

Take away the R, and it's just the same old Frankfurt School Critical Theory developed by the German Communists.

Interestingly enough, Howard Zinn was a member of the Communist Party at that time, too.

Bunch of ignorant, intolerant fucking murderers when they finally got their wishes and came to power in Russia, China and elsewhere.

Critical Theory is a Communist Tool. Adding the R to hook African Americans is a shitty, ill-considered, divisive trick I hope most of my BIPOC friends will see right through. But as long as politicians can use it to virtue signal and troll for votes, it won't go away. The pols will sink to any level to stay in office.

I’m with you in theory. But that assumes there is a free market of ideas for it to go away quickly once it’s been debunked. Problem is that the details of CRT are not understood by the masses, the subtleties of language tricks and the deliberate separation of the marketing engine from the operational engine is not obvious to most.

    I agree with Throbber.

Don't ban it outright, but it sure as hell shouldn't be required.

I believe sunlight is the best disinfectant. Expose this far left fraudulent bull

Problem is that it's not taken as theory by 6 year olds. WA State legislature is cramming this down the public school pipeline. Goal is that we have either relocated by the time the oldest is in school, or we can scrape by putting him in private school.

A lot of working class people who'd driven long distances to hear him speak turned their back on him after that Epic display of cowardice. I knew he was a goner at that point, and the Hillary gang hadn't even sharpened their knives yet.

It's really aimed more at white liberals especially white liberal females.

I don't know the timeline but when Bernie told Hillary her emails would not be an issue in the first debate I think, he was toast.

He was basically protecting her for the general election

Wild-Ass-Guess would be white women. I know a very bright College of Ed Grad who is in therapy right now to reconcile the actual real world with what she was taught in her School of Education. Turns out her working class fiancé knows exactly who and what he is, and won't swallow a drop of her SJW bullshit, especially when they talk about having kids.

The closest demographic of women I know to fresh-out-of-college, newly minted teachers are women who have been in abusive relationships. The manipulation and attacks on their self-esteem are almost identical and produce the identical effect.

Sounds like this problem could be easily solved. In fact it was only created early in the 20th century.

Totally true. Remember when educators stood against Cliques? Because they cared about individual rights and freedoms? And they actually cared about kids?

Yeah, me too. Those days are long fucking gone. Young teachers are some of the worst bullies in society.

It took all my will not to slam my kid's middle school math teacher's head through his classroom door. One of the biggest fucking assholes I've ever encountered, and totally protected by his shitty union. The fucker hated that my kid was really good at math (3 years ahead), and white. That mother-fucker did everything he could to fuck with my kid and make shit harder, including refusing to give him the homework assignment when my son lost his note with the assignment on it. Fucking Cock-Sucker! I will celebrate when that fucker gets hit by a bus.
