    I saw two Laotian dudes fly fishing for cutthroat on lower Puget Sound from the beach this winter. They had a rickety old car and their gear came from Craigslist and/ or garage sales their boots leaked and they were having a great time.

    They read about it on the internet, were fishermen back home and had been planning for months to give it a try.

    They didn’t fly to an Alaskan lodge, launch a 22’ sled or cruise for crab shrimp and halibut to have fun outdoors.

    Didn’t have the money even if they wanted to. Didn’t need to. They sure did have a good time.
