An additional $4 Trillion in spending in the past year.

SFGbobSFGbob Member Posts: 32,914
This is on top of the already existing $4.8 Trillion dollar budget for 2020.

If we got out of this a completely state of the art electrical grid, and infrastructure it might have been worth it but the reality is that other than the vaccine, we will get nothing out of this. San Francisco which spent money on booze and drugs to give to homeless people they paid for to live in hotels has been made whole from the Covid relief bill. The Teamsters and other private pension programs have been bailed out by this bill.

States like New York and Illinois that have been completely irresponsible with their fiscal management have been bailed out by this bill. And all the Congress needed to do was give away $1,400 in "free" money and the idiot public fell right in line.

As I was saying at what point does this become not worth defending?

the real question is when does it reach the point we take it back?

We are the minority. Fiscal conservatives don't even have a political party that represents their interests. What do you get even if you take it back? A completely worthless currency and a populace who thinks the role of government is to give them "free" shit.

Back to the constitutional republic we have been and should be!

Taking it back eliminates that government. Build back better!

You’ve had no beef with massive tax reductions. Fiscal conservatives think about BOTH spending and revenue.

You don’t do austerity in an economic crisis. It doesn’t work. History, you know.

This is a leftard inspired economic crisis. Taxation has no part of it. Bailing out the Illinois state pension fund isn't a federal function. You think you are undertaxed dazzler, then step up and fund this sh*t. But you won't unless there is the threat of a gun in your face.

Yes, because my money is really the government's money. Funny how you interest in fiscal responsibility never has anything to do with spending.

Yes, yes because a Federal budget that already had over a Trillion dollars in deficit spending is the very definition of "austerity." Fucking hack.
  • SFGbobSFGbob Member Posts: 32,914
Imagine thinking that a budget that already included nearly $4 Trillion in deficit spending was an "austerity" budget that needed to spend and additional $2 Trillion in debt in order to bailout cities like SF and Chicago and the pension plan for the Teamsters.

You have supported every single revenue reduction measure. You’re not on the high ground, blob.

    In 2009, yes

This was created because of a scary virus that's a cold for most bad orange man who was going to win an election. This is on the Dimocrats.

Bumper sticker sloganeering about “my money” doesn’t allow for ANY defensible level of taxation. You’re not a serious person, and no, angry doesn’t qualify.

Yes, our problem is clearly a revenue problem and not a spending problem. Weird how you don't think raising taxes is part of any "austerity" policy but not tacking an additional $2 Trillion onto the existing $4Trillion in deficit spending is cold hard economic "austerity."

What happened to your more fiscally responsible alternative standard you fucking fraud?

    @AfghaniLGBTQTrainingDawg, true?

Fuck off, Dazzler. Your people just voted through so much pork it would make a Muslim change his diet.

    $1400. Christ.

If you didn't catch it the first time, Fuck off, Dazzler.

Yes, yes the Kunt who claimed they voted for Obama because he was more fiscally responsible is clearly a deep thinker committed to a non-bumper sticker ideology.

No you're not. There is no way in hell the Rats propose taxation levels that come anywhere close to covering this spending. Liar or moron Dazzler?
