EUGENE — “Oregon’s Chris Duarte was named Pac-12 Player of the Year by the Associated Press.
The senior guard, who helped lead the Ducks to back-to-back Pac-12 regular season titles, averaged 17.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.9 steals. Duarte, who ranks 10th nationally in three-point field goal percentage (44%), is one of just three players nationally averaging 17.0 points and 1.8 steals per game while shooting 50% from the field and is the only major conference player to do so.“-James Crepea The Oregonian
