I don't see "climate" as a voting issue for so called independents. It's fun to care about something that may happen decades from now, but that's fun when you aren't worried about your job or being unemployed. Biden promised to put hundreds of thousands of natural gas and oil workers out of work. That sound bite isn't going to play well in swing states.

I listen to a daily swedish podcast, even sweden is setting “saving the world” aside to focus on their economy by focusing on maximum food production to make sure there isn’t an issue in supply.
