The 2022 OL class looks great but I'm sure we'll jerk them around for a few months, show them where they stand in the pecking order, encourage them to make sure UW is really the place they want to be, offer them as greyshirts, and go months without talking to them. In the end, we'll get the lowest rated guy and pretend he's the best one

I mean we've already offered five of them (four of them months ago) so there's some reason for optimism.

We were early on every one and first on a few IIRC.

Some of the 2022 guys will lose their shine. I’m all for getting in-State lineman but not at the expense of missing out on other good ones.

Specialness increases as future year approaches peaking at current year +2. As reality sets in regarding roster and recruiting specialness then decreases until it reaches 0 for current year.
