It’s fine to be outraged by a death like this, because it was so unnecessary, but I resist the idea that this is indicative of police interactions with POC, because the data says just the opposite, and the police involved were all immediately fired and the one officer was charged with Murder.

Making him a martyr is a little problematic, seeing as how he was a drug addicted porno actor that went to jail for Breaking into a pregnant woman’s home, pointing a gun at her stomach, and robbing/beating her, looking for money and drugs.

This ain’t Morgan Fucking Freeman here, guys.
