    Well, unless he plans on applying for a waiver, and actually gets it(can't see it), Newman will be gone before he's eligible to play anyway.
    Once he is eligible, he'll really only have to beat out Brock Vandagriff to win the job, and Vandagriff will be a true freshman in 2021. Vandagriff is supposed to be really good, but if Daniels can't beat out a true freshman, as a RS Senior, he probably wouldn't have much of a future in the sport anyway.
