“While one group of students at West Linn High School in Oregon walked out of class to protest the presence of Chick-Fil-A food carts at their school’s football games, another group walked out waving bags of the chicken franchise’s offerings and sporting MAGA (“Make America Great Again”) hats.

The dueling walkouts took place on Friday, local station KATU reports:

“The (school’s) Gay-Straight Alliance is upset that a Chick-Fil-A food cart is allowed at high school football games. They say Chick-Fil-A supports anti-LGBTQ+ organizations.

“Another group of students walked out of school Friday and were wearing "Make America Great Again" hats. They were waving Chick-Fil-A bags around and were mocking the group that had walked out to support LGBTQ+ students.”

This is what the rats have to worry about? Chick-Fil-A? The most charitable fast food joint in the country? One that does not discriminate in any of their hiring practices like lib owned restaurants do?

The minority far left is so fucked in the head, we all get that but did they have to fuck up their kids lives too?

Good for the counter protesting students. We need more of that in the country so that the snowflake crowd doesn't rule.

West Linn is a typical upper middle class high school. Faculty is very liberal along with the administration. Athletics are the last of the institutions to celebrate excellence through hard work and commitment. My daughter saw Al Gore's fake movie three times. What does An Inconvenient Truth have to do with a history class? Getting woked up about Chik-Fil-A is just a sad commentary about how bad the parenting and school administration is today in 2019. USC, the campus of spoiled children has had 9 deaths this year. Kids should be happy and excited about college and not offing themselves.

This seems like a clear case where both sides need to get a life and find something better to do with their time than get up-in-arms about a fast food restaurant or people choosing to exercise their first amendment rights. The fact that this is "news" is the problem.

Almostoo true. Lots of lawn service and maids in our neighborhood. We had a maid service in the early 90s when my wife had a pharmaceutical rep job. But lots of maid service for stay at home Mom’s. I started mowing our lawn when I was 9, so I had my kid start at age 9. People would literally stop their cars and stare at him. I kept waiting for child services to show up. I don’t know of any of his friends that mowed their yards and that was through high school. Either the Dad, some Mom’s or a yard service. It’s only gotten worse. The sense of entitlement is incredibly high along with this weird view that they have some sense of superiority, hence the “Boomer” remarks. Now, my “Boomer” generation started this wave, but it certainly has now been mastered. The economic ignorance is epidemic along with the adoption of the green gaia religion.
