It wasn't through a lack of effort by Mueller, the Trump Tower meeting gets the most attention than anything else from Mueller and he came up empty because there was nothing there. Nothing of value was exchanged and no information illegally obtained was exchanged. What was promised was never delivered. Now an honest person would be able to admit this, and they might also be a little curious why these Russians met with Fusion both before and after the meeting but dishonest liars like O'Keefed and Hondo just maintain the lie.
