    The 200 plus years of this country before Twitter was invented sure were dark times where people had no method to exercise free speech.

    Oh we are still in dark times. Complete freedom of speech is under attack by the left. Try to be a Conservative journalist anywhere but FOX or the internet. If you are Ben Shapiro or a whole host of any other campus speakers, good luck with that free speech thing. Try and get a job in Hollywood as a Conservative or get a script written and into production as a Conservative. There are colleges where the existing faculty have protested the hiring of what is perceived to be a Conservative or Republican, no other reason, they just don't want that perspective on their campus. Try getting a job in any large metropolitan city government. If you think they hire people that they believe are Conservative and might hurt their sensitive ears with their brand of free speech, you are wrong. Yahoo, Google, Twitter, Facebook, etc all have been guilty of crushing the free speech of people that aren't liberal. Campuses and liberal corporations have banned all sorts of free speech virtually forcing people to speak only how they want them to.

    Twitter is just another in a long line of democrat dominated and run organizations that want to shut down the free speech of anyone who thinks differently than they do. You can try and downplay what is happening with the democrat assault on our rights but it is happening. You, like so many other democrats has no problem taking away the rights of others who think differently than you.
