MADISON, Wis. - A Madison woman is facing battery charges after she attacked two restaurant workers who kicked her out of the business Tuesday night, police said.

The Madison Police Department said R'Mani D.S. Norman, 19, was at the Cheba Hut on West Gilman Street shortly after 11 p.m. when workers asked her to get out of the bathroom that she and a man were occupying.

According to the report, when Norman was asked to leave the restaurant, she threw a rack of potato chips and knocked over a newspaper rack while loudly protesting being kicked out.

A witness said that once Norman was outside, she "hacked a fat loogie" in the face of the 22-year-old man working at Cheba Hut, and then pulled out the electric weapon, which could be heard "crackling," the report said. Norman had the Taser in one hand and had grabbed the hair of 27-year-old worker with the other.

The other employee was able to get Norman to let go of his workmate's hair, and he kept Norman on the ground until police arrived, the report said.

Norman is facing charges of possession of an electric weapon, battery and disorderly conduct.
