LeBron's Transformation

RoadDawg55RoadDawg55 Member Posts: 30,123
He quit on the Cavs against Boston years ago. In Miami, they won simply because they had the most talent. He joined D Wade so he could have fun and win at the same time.

Since he returned to Cleveland, it's all about championships and being the greatest.

The play in the first half when he made IT his bitch said it all. He was talking shit to Boston's bench. IT will have a 40+ point game in this series. You can't keep him down, but LeBron set the tone for the series.

IT has a killer mindset. The shortest player in the NBA shouldn't be an elite scorer or an all star, but LeBron is on a different level than all these guys. The baddest dude in the NBA has the same mindset as IT. Nobody else could punk Isaiah like that. It's almost not fair.

He's not a whiny bitch anymore. He's grown up and if you can't see that, you're naive or simply don't want to believe it's true.

He's playing the best basketball of his career in his 30's. Recognize the greatness.

People need to stop with this shit.

LeBron has been great since before he was ranked ahead of Roderick and Loderick as the nation's top soph 15 years ago. He's never been a whiney bitch.

The 2007 Cavs had no business being in the finals. The Mosgov/Dellavedova Cavs had no business taking 2 games from the Warriors in 2015.

As I've said before, Chamberlain for some magical reasons just couldn't win a title when he had cruddy supporting casts. Put him with a supporting cast equal to Russell, and you have the Greatest Team of the NBA's first 50 years. And the 72 Lakers.

Magic, Bird, Jordan had GM's that chased rings, and they didn't need to go to a real team, because the real teams went to them. They all needed a minimum (but mostly more) I HOF teammate to win their titles.

For some sad reason a lot of people lost their collective shit with the decision. And it's taken his current superhuman performance for people to finally get past it.

You're talking about a preseason scrimmage

The other IT was on NBA TV and pointed out who was in the league when Lebron came in and who is here now and said there is nothing Lebron hasn't seen and he is unstoppable regardless of scheme by now.

Almost like he is a heady player who lives in the film room but we know that isn't true

Love was great last night. Irving is biding his time before he punks Curry again.

I was saying this before the routine domination LeBron had displayed this entire postseason.

I think you are underestimating the loss to Dallas. The Heat should have throttled them, but Nowitzki punked the shit out of him, especially in Game 4, and it took years for people to forget that.

Valid point and it has taken me a long time, but things have changed. Jordan went 6-0 in the Finals but he had some struggles to reach the top as well.

LeBron right now is the best player I've ever seen. Simple fact.

Agreed. He is a total bad ass, and those early Cavs losses don't look too bad because those teams sucked without him, but the Dallas loss, where he disappeared and got school by the German, while he was on a far superior team really hurt his rep. You think Jordan losses that series? Not a fucking chance. But, LBJ grew from that experience and decided he wasn't going to bitch out in Finals anymore, and five years later we get what happened last year, when he became fuckign Superman. Just took him awhile to grow into his greatness and realize he really did need to take total control, imho.

It's easy to look like the most dominating player ever when the rules make it nearly impossible to play any kind of physical defense and keep guys out of the lane ...

It's as if people forget that MJ averaged 37.7 a game (before he even really knew what he was doing) or dropped 63 in the playoffs on arguably othe greatest team of all time ...

Put peak Jordan in today's game with today's rules ... LOL

LeBron would be great in Jordan's era.

He just wouldn't be as great as Jordan.

And Jordan would be even greater in LeBron's era.

Best summary of the Lebron era I've seen.

    Nailed it.
Will you and Bae go fuck already?

It's easy to look like the most dominating player ever when the rules make it nearly impossible to play any kind of physical defense and keep guys out of the lane ...

It's as if people forget that MJ averaged 37.7 a game (before he even really knew what he was doing) or dropped 63 in the playoffs on arguably othe greatest team of all time ...

Put peak Jordan in today's game with today's rules ... LOL

Dude stop. I'll take MJ over LeBron too but if you can't see LBJ would be a monster in any era you're not paying attention. The refs don't lick Lebrons balls like they did MJs either.

There's nothing easy about dominating like Bron does.

This is stupid. They all would be great in any era.
    I never said that they wouldn't ...

What I'm saying is that you have to extrapolate what MJ would do with these rules ... he would be exceeding LBJ
