Session confirmation hearings

Sounds like a great man. While no issues of substance to hold up the confirmation surfaced, I suspect petty politics will keep the vote from being unanimous.

I love how at the beginning the left introduced how important it is for the attorney general to follow the rule of law regardless of his/her positions, yet want him to ignore the laws regarding illegal immigration.

“And a secular person has just as good a claim to understanding the truth as a person who is religious, correct?” At which point Sessions responded, “Well, I’m not sure.” For a few seconds the Senate chamber seemed to go completely silent.

    Fuck. Him.

I'm fine with this. Then I can quit my job and go back to selling weed full time. TAX FREE.

    Disagree.

I kinda like that my best friends who own the top retail store in the state pay 46% in taxes on sales. *

    Win win win. **

*That store recently rolled over $10 MILLON in excise taxes paid to Washington State.

**The state, to date, has brought in over $400 Million from weed sales.

Yeah, when it's being taken from criminals, and turned into legit business and tax revenue.

You still haven't given me a reason as to why the government is entitled to take from producers. Or maybe you didn't understand the point I was making when you gleefully took the bait to name drop your super cool fren.

I understood the point just fine. Generally I agree with your point.

In this case, I'm choosing the excuse it for the trade-off of having legal weed and starting down the path for all that hemp and MJ can be good for in society. As you know, there are many many reasons. Almost too many to count.
