The announcers wouldnt shut the fuck up about how Alabama's defense was now faster and built to stop Clemson. How Bama was pissed at giving up so many points to Watson last year.
Saban and Bama nation did not anticipate a fucking Sark led offense getting off the field in under sxity seconds after two incomplete passes and a bubble screen for four yards. Clemson nearly ran a hundred plays and Bama was 2 for 15 on 3rd down.
This was the same type of shit that let UW get blown out almost every time they lost...usually every team with a pulse put up 40 on us. Most of it due to the defense being on the field 90% of the game. -
The kicker was that Sark would have these all pass, no first down series in critical spots in the game. or how about UCLA in 2009? Chris Polk was averaging like 10 yards per carry and only got the ball 15 times. Sark decided to throw the fucking ball all over the field 40 fucking times.

Pretty much every game Sark lost at uw involved too much passing and short possessions at crucial moments. He went into his "let's surprise them by doing the opposite of what they expect" mode in pretty much every game. I always felt like the great game by the offense in the second win over USC swelled his head beyond the point where it could ever be deflated without sticking an ice pick in his ear. Somehow he kept making the right call in that game when uw's offense was really overmatched.
It worked 7 times every season, against most of the shitty teams. 0-fer 1 at Bama now and it will keep hurting them down the road if Saban keeps him and doesn't neuter him.
The AC where Price went completely gay and handed the game to his friends in crimson was a strange exception. Sark stubbornly kept pounding the ball between the tackles with the lead, and WSU simply run blitzed repeadedly to stop it. He never tried shit to exploit the defensive aggression in the 2nd half of that game. It reminded me of a part in top gun..."I'm notleaving my wing mangoing against the chart..." -
