The OL was one of many position groups that had a range of play from pretty bad to shitty.
Agree. But USC's talent had a shit load to do with that. Credit to them for having a better cut of beef. Thought we had a coaching staff that would deal with the talent disparity better. Not good game plans from either coordinator.
SC looked really athletic, and never seemed to get rattled by the crowd. You have to give them credit. They may have actually stumbled into a pretty good situation with Helton.
Browning was pretty awful. It was hard to watch him literally sack himself on three separate occasions... and his deep ball was way the the fuck off.
But the OL did nothing to help Browning's cause. They were bad last night. Brostek was being thrown around like a ragdoll, and the pocket was collapsing really quickly.
I'm not as bullish on the OL and Strausser as most seem to be around here. I think SC's size and athleticism exposed our? line a bit last night. It's the kind of defensive front we? would face against Bama, Ohio State, or Michigan, and they didn't look ready for it.
That said, neither Browning or the OL were helped out by the play calling... which at times was really fucking bad.
And, since this is the tean buoy stocking bored... Sign some fucking offensive lineman!!!!
Stop getting your feelings hurt by people not agreeing with you.
Right now you're acting like the kid who gets picked last at recess and never gets the ball passed to him but scores one basket and talks shit. The O Line sucked last night for the first time all year.
So did the linebackers So did the DBs So did the QB So did the Defensive Line
Just drop put the shovel down and realize that arguing that our offensive line sucks, or is poorly coached, is FS.
If Bainavalu and Foster or Austin Jackson end up at UW, then there goes that argument as well

Interior OL is a problem. Everyone knows or at least should have known Brostek sucks. Getting him to perform at all is a feather in Strausser's cap. Harris should be a stud once he puts on weight. We have some young guys and vets that could be serviceable to really good.
At one point Victor couldn't get on the field. Bierria and Lawyer (I think that's his name) we're ahead of him in Pete's first year. With Sark I would say Roberts and the other young OL suck. That hasn't been the case with Petersen.
Adams simply had a shitty game, but we all know he's about as good of tackle as UW has had since Lincoln Kennedy.
