    I'm in the camp that thinks Trump won't release them because he isn't as rich as he wants everyone to believe. I mean look, he is a rich fucker, no doubt. But I am thinking he is "real estate" rich and not burn hundreds to keep the fire going rich. And he is the type of egomaniac that would actually care that he isn't as rich as people think. Plus, I think Trump really enjoys telling people who tell him to do something to fuck off. One of the things I like most about him tbh.

    Actually peopled golved all over those returns. There was criticism of the valuations and methods used. Questioning the accuracy and meaningfulness of the numbers. But it was back in the day when Trump was just one of many candidates. One that, most figured, would not get the nomination.

    Agreed. Mark Cuban even said, if Trump is anywhere near as wealthy as he says, $500 million is nothing to contribute to a campaign. He's claiming he's rich like Steve ballmer, who paid $2 billion for a $150 million basketball franchise.

    Yeah, if you value all the buildings and golf courses and shit he owns, he's got billions. But those buildings aren't liquid. They are income producing, and for sure the dude is super rich, but he isn't drop two billion on a sports franchise rich. Unless someone would take two Trump towers, a casino, and a golf course in trade.
