What we learned this week

Things looked really great in the dress rehearsals. We had a great week of rehearsals. But we just didn't execute. Part of that falls on me. I mean, the guys have to listen to what we say and trust us. It felt like maybe we had some trust issues. Not trusting the script. Not trusting the teleprompter. Not trusting the speechwriters. And that's on me. Nobody wants to fix that more than me. But they have to trust us too. They have to execute onstage like they did in rehearsal. Again, we had a great week of rehearsal. But for some reason it just didn't come together out there tonight on stage. But I'm still so proud of the effort we showed out there even when things weren't going our way. We didn't pout. We didn't hang our heads. So I'm proud of the way the team handled that adversity. The thing now is to take that and learn from it. To come out next week and have a great week of rehearsal so we can do better next week. Go Dawgs!sarktastic said:
