He chose WSU over offers from Idaho, Portland State and Eastern Washington. He started the second half after Dahl's back up almost got Falk killed in the first half. For a third string guy he looked good. He starts next year.
Dillard is a Dude! Played pretty good for his first time in! He was my starting left tackle for two years at Woodinville. He was the back up as a sophomore. All he needs to do is add 20 lbs and stay healthy. And yes I tried to get him to be a Husky but his dad played for the cougs...
Whatshouldicareabout, Andre was a fantastic tackle in High School. He was 6'5ish and about 245 pounds is Senior season. All PAC 12 teams are looking for kids like Adams 6-7 , and McGary 6-7 and both probably around 280ish in high school. Andre was a bit "skinny". He is still alittle light 270ish and about 9-10 % body fat.
Watching Andre play the past two game he fits perfect for wsu passing game. He is lighting fast and only really has to pass block DE or outside LB who should be lighter or the same size as him. Run blocking is about 15 plays a game so he doesn't have to be as big.
Adams and McGary both have the bulk to be run blockers first and that is way you can see sometimes they get out athleted on pass pro.
Also Andre had a better line coach in high school! Haha
Yes Coach Peterson was going to offer him but since they were late to be hired, Andre had already accepted the offer by wsu.
Peterman didn't receive authorization to begin recruiting him while he was coach at Boise?
Sark didn't have him locked up?... Woody didn't hold the recruiting class and prospects for a new coach?
Seriously. Stop apologizing for this shitshow. We fucked up and let a future All-Pac player... from the neighborhood, no less... get away.

Wtf
Sarkastic,
Fuck You!
I don't need to apologize for anything
The UW didn't even sniff Andre when Sark was the HC! And neither did any other Pac 12 school besides WSU.
Boise St was a no show also, there was NO WAY I was going to let him go to Portland State or even worse Idaho! So when WSU offered him I was not going to change his mind or was Coach Petersen, since his dad was a player there too.
Coach Petersen and Coach Stausser both wanted him like I said before but where too late..
There will be a lot of teams pissed that they didn't recruit Andre when he is done!
André has had two good games, he will get bigger, stronger and better. I am impressed by him, and very happy to have him playing for my cuogs. Also coach leech has praised him following both games he's played in this year.
We're proud of him. For the record, @MikeMonan hoped he would be a Husky, but things didn't quite work out.
Everybody should be proud of the kid. He's doing great and by all accounts is a first rate kid.
"Washington"... collectively, blew it.
Had Peterman been on him at Boise, he would have had a legit chance to sign Andre when he came to Woodinville with an 'enhanced' offer, over a Boise offer he should have already had in hand, rather than an intro. Peterman, in addition to Sark(therefore by extension, Woody) fucked up.
Sounds to me, Mike had his back no matter what the kid wanted... as a good HS coach should... but, by the time Peterman came calling, the Pirate Ship had already plundered the Village.
