Sark doesn't deal in hypotheticals

I feel like you could listen to this with your eyes closed, bleep the names out and you could convince me this interview's from 4 years ago. It's the same shit year after year. "These kids worked really hard and done everything we've asked them to do"...."We're here to win championships"..."We were (insert phrase here about hypothetical that should have happened) last year." His schtick must get really fucking old with the players. There are good motivators because you respect the hell out of the guy and you don't want to let the man down. There are good motivators who use different tactics for different guys and really know how to get the best out of their guys. There are good motivators who are tough as nails and you would run through a wall for them. There are also good motivators who you want to follow because deep in your heart, you truly believe this guy believes what he's telling us and if we do as he says, we will win. Sark is neither. You can tell when the going gets tough, he'd run away. You don't respect the hell out of a guy and don't want to disappoint someone who shows up to pre-game drunk and tells half the team who he banged last night. Sark isn't a guy you'd want to go to war for because you know he doesn't have your back. And he's definitely not someone who you listen to pre-game and get fired up because you are convinced Sark believes deep in his soul what he is telling us.
I'm sure he was pretty good at selling computer chips, though. Even though I can almost guarantee he didn't know jack shit about them, either.

I love how he played up that they were 2 plays away from being 11-2, but didn't mention they were also 2 plays from being 7-6.
He does look like he's lost weight. He must be going crazy on the late night exercises with those waitresses now that Stephanie's gone. -
Nebraska also looked real close to beating them in the bowl game. Sark was who his record says he was 9-4.bananasnblondes said:I love how he played up that they were 2 plays away from being 11-2, but didn't mention they were also 2 plays from being 7-6.

Football outsiders did a statistical review of that USC at Stanford game last year. Stanford penetrated the SC 35 yard on every single possession in the game. Statistically when that happens a team gets absolutely blown the fuck out at any level of football, allowing an average of 49 pts. In the previous 700+ FBS match ups where all 9 drives crossed the 35oyard line the fewest scored pts was 33. Stanford scored 10 pts that game.

Great post. I was there. The red zone playcalling was breathtakingly stupid. One of the more frustrating games I've ever watched.BallSacked said:
