Welcome to the Hardcore Husky Forums. Folks who are well-known in Cyberland and not that dumb.
1. The Clippers are title contenders. So it was smart of DJ to go back. Nevermind the fact that Chris Paul is a loser. Nevermind that Blake Griffin is a loser. Nevermind all that. Title contenders.
Look I was once a Clipper fan. I get it. I see the talent and skill. And you can do the whole Chris Paul has never lost as a lower seed if you want. But he gakked away the series two years ago against OKC and the whole team gakked away the series vs Houston last season. These things happened because he's a loser.
I don't get why the media rides so hard for him. Carmelo gets trashed but he's been to a fucking conference finals at least.
2. Spurs really hurt themselves signing Aldridge. Now if you want to go the Race route and say Aldridge just isn't that good, that's fine. You're dumb but I'll allow it. No no, they hurt themselves because they lost depth. I'm hearing this is a real worry. They lost Splitter and Baynes! And replaced them with Aldridge and West. They lost Corey Joseph! I don't even know if that's how he spells Corey! It might be Cory! Or something else completely because I'm not even sure that's his first name!
Bellineli is the only guy they lost that is meaningful. And he was just a guy that stood around and shot threes. I mean it hurts a little but they're the Spurs. They'll find a guy that can make wide open threes.
3. The Kings off season hasn't been that bad. If you take away the Karl-Cousins drama. They improved their roster. I mean what the fuck.
You guys can bash Zach Lowe all you want but try listening to a Zach Harper podcast. Holy fuck is he stupid. Good Twitter follow though.

Paul is popular because he wears glasses and looks white in commercials and people think TV is reality. And he was the "spokesman" who was courageous enough to speak out against Sterling after the entire media world complex had decided after 30 years that Sterling was racist.
I don't think Aldridge hurts the Spurs I was quite clear that they aren't winning a title with him because he's a loser. Talented like Paul but a loser. Same story. One series win in 9 years. And old players get hurt and the Spurs are old where it counts. Other guys only matter if the big guys are solid. When the Lakers added Malone and Payton to Kobe and Shaq......wait, they didn't win and Malone got hurt.

Health is the major if for them. I wouldn't bet on them to win the title. But you can get lucky with health and no one does a better job managing minutes than Pop.
