How hard would it have been to put 10 cops in front of each business in Baltimore?

That clueless bitch Mayor could have saved every single business in that community. How hard would that have been?Would it be considered a difficult decision to send 5 to 10 please officers to the front doors of every business in that town to protect from looting and burning?

I personally believe Stephanie Rawlings should be immediately removed from her position as mayor, then propped up for a proper and painful ass pounding from all of the local business owners and their employees who are without a job this week.

The "mayor" was more concerned with politics than the welfare of the buisiness owners.

The BPD employs 3,220 people, 3,080 are officers: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baltimore_Police_Department

Even if the cops were robots that didn't need sleep, food, etc., that's 308 businesses with 10 cops out front. But that's not the case, so cut that number in half. 154 businesses with 10 cops. That's not enough to cover all the businesses in a major city. Which businesses get protected? Also, that would leave the rest of the city completely devoid of any police force. And if a protest/riot breaks out anywhere, no cops would be available to respond in force to contain the crowd.

And before you blame the mayor of a city for not calling out the National Guard again, I'd like to remind you that the National Guard is under the command of the governor of the state, not the mayor: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Guard_of_the_United_States

In this case, the governor of Maryland is Larry Hogan (R). But you don't hold him accountable, even to enact your retarded "solution" because you're a partisan hack that can't even google basic info.

So in answer to your question, impossible.

Good math but bad politics, Tommy Hill

The mayor did not want the Guard nor did she ask. She thought it would makes things worse. Finger pointing is worthless because as we all know

    Everybody does it

If they did it, and prevented the riots, would CNN show up and tell us #blacklivesmatter?

"As the Maryland National Guard patrolled Baltimore streets for the first time in more than 45 years, some critics questioned why it took so long to deploy them.

Among those airing concern: Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan, who said Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake did not return his repeated phone calls for more than two hours Monday as rioting spread across the city. He felt he couldn't call out the Guard without her.

Rawlings-Blake would not directly respond to his complaint, saying she would not engage in "political football." .. "

Wrong math. She had the national guard at her disposal, but chose not to engage them until things were way out of control. She also handcuffed the BPD, ordering them not to engage the "protestors". She chose to pander rather than lead.

If they'd nuke the whole city, there would be no riots.

    Problem solved.
