Nobody mentions all the other times where he doesn't hold or have a false start.
He's doesnt hold or commit false starts until he does.

Okung is by far the best OL on the Seahawks.

Clayton on Friday said Suh will get $20M+ and is not coming here.

He also said if Fitzgerald is cut by AZ (not a given), then he would probably get a deal for $5M or $6M, and Seattle would be a definite possibility.

Not sure I want Fitzgerald. I mean he's an upgrade over the mediocre pedestrians, but that's Golden Tate money, and at this poont Tate >>>>> Fitz.

Unless there's just nobody out there, I'd rather upgrade with someone else.

Looking through the free agents, there are a lot of good ones that wouldn't break the bank. I think getting another pass rusher is crucial. Jason Pierre-Paul and/or Greg Hardy would be huge moves and both would be cheaper than Suh. Maybe Hardy could be had for somewhat cheap because of his off the field issues?

Which is just 1.8% of the time less than Okung.

Forgot about Hardy, agree that would be awesome as well. He's pretty elite, Carolina's defensive line went to shit without him. I think Seattle's biggest defensive weakness is still defensive tackle though and Hardy is an end. Looking at next year, there is a good chance Mebane isn't half the player he was prior to that awful hamstring tear. Hill looks promising but besides him there isn't a lot of promise there. Kevin Williams and McDaniel are both just big bodies. They don't do anything special.

I mostly agree, but McDaniels and Williams were fine as two down players. I think those guys aren't too tough to find, and they aren't really expensive either. I would take Suh over Hardy if money were equal, but Suh is going to cost much more. I also agree that DT is more of a need than DE, however I think an impact player on the DL is what is most needed. Bennett and Avril are really good DE's. Bennett graded out the highest of any 4-3 DE on PFF.

If the Seahawks signed Hardy, a 3rd down DL lineup of Hardy, Hill, Bennett, and Avril would be pretty scary to opposing offenses. Hardy is good against the run. Schofield played pretty well at times, but the Seahawks missed Clemons, and to a lesser extent Bryant last year. Bennett and Avril played too many snaps last season.

Hardy is probably a pipe dream as well. The charges were dropped and some team will probably throw big money at him.

Can somebody help me understand why we're even talking about DEs? SEA has to have one of the deepest, most talented groups of DEs in the league.

They do? Bennett and Avril are very good starters. Bennett plays DT on a lot of passing downs. When Bryant and Clemons were around, your post was true. Not last year.

Fitzgerald is over the hill by quite a bit, but if he comes cheap then I'm fine with it. A big bodied receiver is always good, plus he'll likely sell out to get a ring.

Saying Okung is the best OL for the Hawks is tallest midget 101.

When Bennett moves inside, Irvin puts a hand on the ground. He's a pretty elite edge rush specialist as well.

And what team has a #4 guy as solid as Schofield? When you're waiving a guy like Mayowa, you must be in pretty good shape.
