5 minutes later.... Jude posts that Ross III and his 155 ypg will be the boost needed for the huskies.

Contrary to the crap you read in magazines....fishing is terrible in Colorado and hunting is a joke. "Wahoo... another 12 inch hatchery non native mutant rainbow!"

As for hunting... the locals freak out if they can't shoot something a 100 yards from the trail (or off the back of their ATV). That ain't hunting... it's country club "killing." Not to mention the shear number of hunters out there.... you may need to throw an elbow to bag anything during rifle season.

I'd rather pound out a limit of steelies or search for a toad Chinook (ask @dflea‌).

That is why my boat is stored on the Skykomish River and not the South Platte and why we both buy non-resident licenses in Washington and British Columbia.

TL:DR version : Pacific Northwest fishing/hunting blows Midwest Rocky malarkey out the window.
