There used to be something special about having to wait all week until Saturday before seeing football. It made it that much sweeter. Now we're inundated with it during the week; and it has taken away some of its luster.

Football is here for such a short time ... I enjoy every minute of it I can. I like having it throughout the week... I know that is contrary to the bored, but oh well.

I hear you. Same with some other sports too. It has diluted the feeling that every game on TV matters, is a small event. Doesn't seem to be the case judging by reading doogman. Every week some douche seem lost at prospect of finding what channel the game is on or if there is a sports bar with cold beer and other DAWGS that will have the game.The_Undertaker said:
