If only there was any evidence the little Ducks can beat Cam Ward.
Miami was playing pinball off of those lulvull defenders. -
It was an entertaining game

It was
I switched away from the Illinois Michigan abomination so I could enjoy myself.
The B1G is… underwhelming as a product. -
What, you don't find field goals and fullbacks riveting?

They just kicked another one.

MSU's J. Kim kicked 7 FGs, made 6.
-
True, but Indiana looks fun and frisky

not at this point but give me a few years to settle in.

send him an invite

He’s only winning because he has a generational QB.
-
Cam Ward generational???
Yeah, I like that. Coug takes what Cuog can get.
-
Ward is the closest I've seen recently to Penix with the long ball and cool in the pocket
Ward runs more and better too
Most teams do well with generational quarterbacks. It's science
@ntxduck explained why a lot of teams passed
Fortune favors the bold. I like to say that

I’m not anti ward but he will fuck something up
-
Probably against Oregon
-
Ward doesn't throw the ball anywhere near as well as Penix, and has a tendency to make absolute mindfucking dumb decisions with the ball under pressure.
He's gotten away with it this season so far because of the ACC and that Miami isn't Cuog.
-
Yes he's made some dumb plays but disagree on the long ball
He's also clutch after he fucks up
I'd take him over Rogers
-
well that’s a low bar
-
Not according to many experts on this site

I think ward is qb1 in this class. Admittedly a bad class, but he looks really good. You guys are being overly critical of him
-
Ntxduck and I agree

I agree with Race. He has touch on the deep pass, which is hard to coach, develop or learn. He can be crazy accurate, but yes he makes some bad decisions when he's trying to extend a play and needs to just throw it out more often. He also carries/holds the ball in a perilous manner and is thus prone to fumbalaya.
But Race is correct that he tends to come back from those things with a vengeance, which separates him from 98% of college QBs, who only get worse after a mistake with shaken confidence.
Penix makes fewer mistakes but Cam can run it and that changes things. All things being equal, I'd take Penix. If I had a great receiver or two, I'd take Penix. If I had good but not great receivers, I'd take Ward, who can create more on the broken play and definitely buy you more time.
The Sanders boy ought to be in this conversation. Maybe a perfect blend of the two. Kid can throw and is also crazy accurate. I'd love for Sanders Jr. to be a Cane.

This clip tells me all I need to know. Cam is the man
