Peterman says, "You're A Lazy Fat Fuck Sark and You Coached Lazy Pussies"

well...kinda.

“I think they’ve taken a good step in terms of buying in to some of the things we believe in. They’ve turned up the dial in terms of their work ethic and those types of things from what we saw early when we got here"

Yes, LRR, It's warm for October or whatever, all the kids are saying....etc, etc. etc..

But this quote gave me a bit of a bump in my Goodwill .99 cargo shorts. And Peterman once again makes the HHBs right and the Doogs wrong. I'm a Poon and proud. Fucking can't wait for the season for the first time since before I started trimming my ear hair.

I have to say this is the most excited I have been for husky football in 10 plus years...seriously getting pumped.

agreed... and yet, the DMC midgets (can I say that?) are inferring this is the least excited they've been for Husky football in decades. The lack of kick-ass pressers is a concern.

On a related and unexpected note, as I was mainlining my triple shot espresso this morning I got amped up about the Wazzuholes since the only newspaper in the coffee shop was the "Seattle" Times.

Wasn't sold on Peterman when we first hired him...the previous Boise St. coaches that moved on were Houston Nutt, Dirk Koetter, and Dan Hawkins respectively. Nutt could actually coach...the others blew. But I must admit I'm actually kinda dooging it up with Peterman so far...hope the regular season matches the offseason P12N championship he's been winning.

Plus he's apparently royally pissing off the folks at doogman.com, and one has to respect that.

word...I haven't been this excited since '97 when S & S picked us as number one, which lasted about two weeks into the season. The Huskies and Seahawks are never really good/great in the same year. The last time it happened Reagan was still running up the deficit and busting unions.

Way back when, the Jim Owens era was fading, I can remember sitting in the soggy stands and admiring the teams from USC and wishing we were up there again. It seemed that big time college ball had passed us by. And then along came Don James, most were suspicious, a coach for Ohio and nobody really knew anything about him. I say this because i have that same anticipation and wonder right now, big time college ball had passed us by and the fans seemed to be OK with it--except the half brains and faithful. Yea I know, long winded. Now to the meat, I had read quite a few comments at sites that went this way--"Peterman praises the job Sark did in bringing back Husky football, and now all eyes are on him and question whether he can take it to another level" When I read the comment noted in the OP. I broke out laughing. Peterman in a couple of sentences destroyed the Sark myth. Destroyed his program myth. Destroyed his credibility as a head coach. And destroyed the so called experts and fan sites, who have had a bad case of man love for that guy for years now. Today was the first practice and it was noticeable how defined and in shape the players were. Stay tuned as Peterman crushes any remaining Sark worship over the coming months. Sure there will remain a few Sark enablers and so forth, but I can't wait to read the USC boards.

The flat front on these boner sweatpants are disappointing. Peterman is ready to induce full on pelvic sorcery this season, and we're going to need 2-3" of "space" in the premium content area of our sweatpants at all times.
