Clearly they prioritize recruiting as a hc strength which is odd if they have a top 6 NIL program.
You'd think that the smart play was to hand Joey Freshwater a lifetime contract and you're getting talent anyways.

You can do that, but not every coach on staff needs to be a recruiter. You can afford to hire a couple of X’s and O’s nerds who don’t recruit as coordinators if your HC is lanning.
