Huskies Run UCLA Out of the Stadium
By Race Bannon
Long time readers are aware that UW never beats UCLA. Ever. Except on rare occasions when they do such as Saturday last beneath a warm Northwest fall day at beautiful Con Air Field at Husky Stadium with a Statue of Don James now showing.
UCLA is the biggest bunch of shit talking celebrating losers you will ever find. The Bruins were geeked up to show that they aren't the worst rushing defense in America. Stats say otherwise and once the Huskies got it rolling nothing had changed with me.
The sad thing is that UCLA often gets away with bullying Washington. Many times that same fake fired up bullshit works and the Huskies roll over and lose like they should. However on this Saturday you could tell that the fake emotion would soon dissipate and it would be the Bruins who laid down and took it. Washington rushed for over 300 yards and ran the ball on 81% of the plays, a school record.
It was the most since Corey Dillon ran for 300 yards in the first quarter in a game that drew mention on the broadcast.
My favorite Bruin is the 5 star top 5 defender who put his knee in Gaskin's head and then stood there like he was going to start crying when he got flagged. What a perfect Bruin player - all airport looks, top ranked recruit, and a giant gaping pussy on the field.
Second place goes to Josie Rosen, the soft piece of shit with the dangling hang nail that took him out of the game. Even the gal doing the sideline reporting called him out for being a loser. I laughed because it is funny hearing a female say that.
But enough about UCLA. No doubt they will be back to ruining many more of a Husky season. For now we'll enjoy a classic Husky Football beat down.
Beat Oregon Rather Easily
The Oregon Ducks come to Husky Stadium fresh off a STATEMENT win over reeling Utah. It was the 4th loss in a row for the UTES but the first win in a row for Willie Taggert and the Ducks. Taggert hopes to use the momentum to get the Florida job that came open this week after a tragic shark attack in Gainesville. Duck players are focused on revenge for the epic beat down at Autzen Arena last season.
"We aren't even thinking about last year," noted speedy Duck wide out Smokey "It" All. "Can't remember it to be quite honest."
Brady Hoke will REMEMBER every one of the 70 points but he got fired. Jim You'll Love it at Levitz has taken over the defense and everyone is talking about the difference between last year and this year. The Ducks held Stanford to 49 points.
Bradon Burnmeiseter needs to get his reads down but the phenom Bobby Hebert may be healed up enough from a vicious acne attack to take the reins again.
I grew up in a Husky house. My dad pretty much hated the entire Pac 8 but some more than others. He had the casual disdain for WSU that any Husky fan has. We don't like you but we don't care enough to hate you because you suck. He really hated Oregon. This was during the dark times between the back to back Rose Bowls when I was 4, and the arrival of the Don James statue in 1975 when I was 19. Oregon and Washington both sucked but it was a pretty heated rival thing back then and a lot closer than it has been since 1975.
It just goes to show that if you teach your kids to hate at home they will keep it with them for a lifetime of hatred. It will be something you can share as a family.
UW 63, UO 10
The CFP poll comes out Tuesday and has no effect on the final poll...This column thinks the metrics of the committee will have UW higher than 12 where they sit now in the polls...Again, it doesn't matter...win out and win the league...thanks for reading....bye...fuck off
