Urban just fucks on another level. The one positive there is no kids from Washington on his roster yet, but I’m sure the 20/21 classes will make recruiting out here worth his while.

    The thing is, disqualifying 99% of kids is actually the correct recruiting strategy when you're coaching the Siberia Broncos. You need to quickly cycle through tons of kids to uncover the few who might actually be open to going there. You can't sell the school, you can't sell the city, you can't sell big time football. Claiming "we have stuff!" will make the kids laugh in your face. He had a unique approach that was necessary to succeed in a unique place.
    Using this same strategy at UW is unnecessary and limiting. It's time to start identifying the football players we? want and selling them on why UW is their best option. And it's actually the truth! Unrivaled player development, huge national games, incredible city, great school. Many of the best players are FS little boys being snake-charmed by manipulative assholes. Save them from themselves. Stop looking for the already rational, mature, responsible young men and start constructing them. Fuck off with the Idaho bumpkin bullshit.

    The worst part about that urban video is it would take about 5 minutes for Petersen, UW, and Seattle business community to shit all over every claim in that video.
