Yeah fuck this shit. Who's going to give a fuck about voting for a bunch of relative unknowns. Most people here probably only know who about 5 of these acts are.

This is probably the dumbest discussion about rap music of all tim. Too many white people trying to pretend like they know what they're talking about.

Well it's either music that people know

Or obscure shit that like 5% of people know.

    Lil Dicky Kys

No black person likes Mackelmore, he's for middle school girls.

Macklemore is for middle school girls but it also wouldn't be accurate to leave him off with how popular he's been.

Danny Brown is supposedly really good but I've never heard his shit. XXX is considered one of the better albums of the decade.

Lil Dicky is a personal white boy fetish. He won't be in the final seedings. I just like him because I am white

Aside from the shit that came out around the time of thrift shop I don't think I've ever heard another Macklemore song.

I can't believe anyone is considering doing a tourney for 64 rappers. Make it 32, and then I might know half them. Christ.

This, assuming that you seed things properly the first round will just be a massacre anyways. There's going to be 1-2 people who give a shit that their 59th seed wasn't included in the tourney and their vote isn't going to matter compared to the others. It really is a case of why even play the game.

I'm just saying. I don't even know 30 rappers, so 64 seems like overkill.

Tough call with rap. I appreciate where you're coming from Doog Bot, but feels like there's like 40 to 50 worthy artists especially since you have give bids to solo artists plus groups. Nwa and Wu Tang take like 8 or 9 bids on their own.

i feel like maybe fewer seeds (10?) would be better because who gives a fuck about logic or danny b

    Something like
    gm 1: 10 vs 3
    gm 2: 9 vs 4
    gm 3: 8 vs 5
    gm 4: 7 vs 6

    game 5: winner g1 vs winner g2
    game 6: winner g3 vs winner g4

Game 7: 2 seed vs winner game 5

Game 8: 1 seed vs winner game 6

Game 9: winner g7 vs winner g8. winner to final four

    OR

    12 seeds

    FIRST ROUND

    gm1: 8 vs 9
    gm2: 7 vs 10
    gm3: 6 vs 11
    gm4: 5 vs 12

    QUARTERFINALS
gm 5: winner game 1 vs 1 seed
gm 6: winner game 2 vs 2 seed
gm 7: winner game 3 vs 3 seed
gm 8: winner game 4 vs 4 seed

    SEMIFINALS
gm 9: winner game 5 vs winner game 8
gm 10: winner game 6 vs winner game 7

    FINAL:
gm 11: winner game 9 vs winner game 10

either works, i don't really care. the point is that the lower seeds suck.

TL;DR: No one cares about the lower seeds, so let's cut them

Okay since I'm bored and I feel like it I'm fixing this seeding to an actually kind of decent one that involves not shitty rappers

    1. Kendrick
    2. Drake
    3. Kanye
    4. Gambino
    5. J Cole
    6. Future
    7. Migos
    8. Chance
    9. Kodak
    10. Macklemore
    11. Big Sean
    12. Wiz Khalifa
    13. Post Malone
    14. Danny Brown
    15. Travis Scott
    16. Kid Cudi

@dnc feel free to fuck with this but considering the general lack of quality depth of the 10's there's not much to do imo
