Not even close. GnR had a short lived career (basically one good album)... but they were a classic instantly.

My vote is less "for" Rage and more against GnR. I have a lot of hate in my life.
    Rage is awful.
AFD is top 10 album of the 1980's. If they had done 1 album instead of 2 in '91 that would have been a more impressive LP. They aren't the Beatles or Stones and not suited for double albums.

Nirvana basically killed G n' R though in one fell swoop.

I think GnR could have survived Nirvana but Axl.

I voted for Chinese democracy & against communism. That being said, Morello's guitar work is spectacular. One of the best. I don't like Zach de la Rocha. Shitty frontman. Doesn't hold a candle to Axl, who was a great frontman & knew how to rock a mic stand.

Axl is a trainwreck of a marginal human being, but he can fuckkn sing.

Oh go fuck yourself with this shit. That asshole sings like some Auburn (WA, no disrespect to the classy SEC white trash) white trash who's living off Thunderbird and meth. I could hear better singers @ 130 am karaoke at a fucking Chinese restaurant in Everett.
