The Cavs trade Thomas and Frye's expiring contracts to the Lakers, which will allow the Lakers to have around $69m in cap space during the off season, which they can use to try and lure Lebron and Paul George to LA. Essentially, the Cavs might have also just traded Lebron to the Lakers in this deal.
