I'm not a Romar fan, but c'mon man. Conroy was a walk-on, Nate came to play football.. Bender doesn't deserve a single bit of credit for either guy. Bobby Jones and Tre Simmons were both Romar recruits. The only guy that came in a true stud was B Roy and even he took time to get to an elite level.

B-Roy missed most of the freshman season (played in only 13 games) due to NCAA clearinghouse issues. Bender may have recruited him initially, but Romar had to actually wait for him to get into school. It's not like he inherited the senior season AA version of B-Roy.
