Lewis County Hipster Killers win World Championship

LEWIS COUNTY WINS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

MINERAL, Wa. (AP) - Riots have been reported in the streets tonight after the Lewis County Hipster Killers won the World Championship of the Hardcore Husky Baseball league.

Finishing the regular season as a #3 seed, the Hipster Killers made their way through the playoffs with wins over the Van Buren Boys, Wartime Consiglieres and the Ham Porter All-Stars. It is the first world title ever for this small town nestled in the shadow of Mount Rainier.

The Ham Porter All-Stars may have finished second, but they had an outstanding year. Over the last twelve weeks of the regular season, the Ham Porters posted an amazing record of 11-0-1. Their journey from worst-to-almost-first was amazing to witness.

Thank you to everybody for an enjoyable season. I will follow up with an email in the future when we begin preparations for the 2017 season.
