“The national picture has changed quite a bit,” Burman said. “... We’ve been doing research, tracking what’s going on nationally, and the number of schools that have added beer sales to the general admission area, the general access areas in football, in all sporting events, on campus, has increased dramatically.”

Needing to do any research in order to determine if selling beer would help profits speaks volumes.

If you can buy beer anywhere, it makes my Club Husky (sponsored by Lexus) tickets seem less exclusive.

Have they done an environmental impact study?

How about examining this decision through the lens of racial justice and the history of institutional inequality?

If you can't see that this is UW's way of saying "we're open to the idea but we don't want to be leading the charge of embracing alcohol on campus and instead will wait until the tipping point of acceptance makes it uncontroversial for us to allow it" then you should take a nice walk on the beach for some perspective

    You're right.

You seem much more attuned to and in step with the no balls feckless leadership of the UW AD.

You and Chest should hang out.
