Your program was shown to the entire country for what it was. The epic quook pressing on this board has been unreal. LSU, Ohio State, Auburn, they all laughed at your meth'd out excuses and bullshit exclamations of "We'll be back!" Christ. The Committee has seen enough out of you marshmallows. Oregon is fucked. Helfrich is a fucking loser (he's from Oregon, of course he is). Oregon was arrogant in promoting clueless morons like Pellum, who wouldn't understand defense if it cut a hole in the back of his pimp suit and fucked him in the ass.

The butthurt in this post proves the point that 1.) It's best to be a quook. 2.) It's worse to be a doog. 3.) It can't get any worse than being a cuog.
By your outburst on Monday ... didn't seem too fun to be a quook, but was sure hella fun to be a doog.

So you guys are saying that neither Mark Helfrich nor Oregon will contend for NC's on a yearly basis? But seriously folks

If Oregon becomes anything less than a top 10 program, Helfrich will be door.ass.out. and Oregon will offer $7MM per year to upgrade the coach.

Chip Kelly took Oregon from being a nice top 20 program to a national contender. And they've been there for 5 plus years now. Hiring Mark Helfrich made the most sense since the likes of Rich Rod, Todd Graham and others who run a similar scheme weren't available. Should Oregon drop off to even 10-3 next year, without a strong closing run. Oregon would make a change even then, should the right man be available.

They don't nor won't be hiring a Big 12 cast off or WAC Wunderkind anytime soon, should it become time to make a change.

Kelly was able to make Masoli successful because of the running threat both from Masoli but also LaMike and Droughns.

That's really easy to say, but hard to actually do. There's lots of programs that would love to win around the country, but yet only a few can do so. If it was as easy as throwing cash around, schools like Texas would just win by default. Cash sure helps, and it's probably necessary to win, but it's far from a guarantee.

True, It's not easy and it's not guaranteed that throwing $$$ at a problem will solve it, should it come down to that.

I don't think you can really compare the situation at Texas as they let their program slide into the shitter for about 3 years too long IMO. Mac Brown's 2005 title and the 2009 NC appearance bought him too much equity and they're now paying the price.

Oregon has a great thing going as a program. Not just the shiny digs but also a lot of depth and the ability to have juice in just about any kids living room now.

They still have a lot of work to do on their lines to get to the top. But they can get just about anyone they want at the skillz positions these days.

True Doogs think that Oregon's fortunes somehow has something to do with them.

I think Oregon has been given the respect they deserve from husky fans. Good to great program that owns the pac but hasn't reached the mountain top. Sure Huskies should probably keep their mouths shut about UO, but whatever.

It's funny how coogs have been bigger duck fans than quooks this last decade.

This is also a reasonable non-Doog perspective, although the OP is a counter-argument for "respect they deserve," but then again, I don't really give a fuck about that

The whole thing was writtien with an agenda. Petersen can be argued has a lot to prove at the next level but he is the one you place high potential on. His first year was a failure on the field but he is doing much better in the recruiting area this year. Seems like a bad Dawg version of a DuckFish analysis with skewed data.
